Hope all of you had a wonderful Labor Day holiday, which always designates the unofficial end to summer, and are settling in for the fall as we are – even though fall weather seems nowhere in sight!
It was a wonderful summer for our CROSSFIRE young people and it seemed to pass so quickly! We are grateful for the many ways in which we saw God the Father impact lives and enrich relationships over the summer months.
Now, once again, we switch gears…
Our ministry children and teens got started back to school, of course, and we pick them up from there in the afternoons for the after school program at our Lion’s Den center.
Please keep the kiddos in your prayers: 1. that all the investment in their lives during the summer will take deep root and bear lasting fruit; 2.that they have a successful school year, perform with excellence in every way, and have great favor surrounding their lives; 3. that the new children who inevitably show up with a new school year will be a good fit for the Lion’s Den and have their lives changed for eternity; and 4. that Crossfire has all the resources needed to serve and provide for the children and families.
Summer is always a challenging time financially for this ministry, as it is for many churches and non-profits. Our expenses sky rocket and contributions plummet. We would be most grateful if you would take a moment to send a financial gift to help us recuperate from summer expenses and stock up the Lion’s Den in preparation for all the needs that come with the new school year.
