We have been blessed recently to have volunteers from Generous Men of Texas come sand, prime, and caulk the exterior of the Lions’ Den so it is ready to paint. Also, a group from Trinity Church came – a courageous group of women cleaned the interior from top to bottom (envision a place where 25 teen boys reside daily), and a group of mighty men dug and laid a drainage line outside and did other repairs and maintenance that sometimes seem never ending to us. Several of our ministry kids were on the scene to take part in the day’s activities and learn a few new skills.
It is fun to have the fellowship with these groups and we are deeply grateful for the ways in which they bless us.
